Presented in this lot is a track list hand written by Tupac Shakur titled “’AmeriKKKa Eatz It’z Young’ or ‘Stay True’”. The track list features 12 songs, divided into Sides A and B, including eight songs recorded for Tupac’s albums: “Out on Bail”, “Stay True”, “Temptations”, “Lord Knowz”, “Dear Mama”, “Hellrazor”, “My Only Fear of Death”, and “R U Still Down?”. The title of this track list, “AmeriKKKA Eatz It’z Young”, drew inspiration from the 1972 Funkadelic double album “America Eats Its Young”. The influences of both Funkadelic and George Clinton are constant throughout Tupac’s work, with the superstar rapper frequently sampling Clinton’s riffs and horns for his own music. This track list has been written in black pen on a piece of lined notebook paper. At the top of the track list, Shakur wrote “2PAC ‘AmeriKKKA Eatz it’z Young’ or ‘Stay True’”.
