Presented here is a partial script for the movie Gang Related, which featured Tupac Shakur’s final film performance. The tale of two corrupt cops, played by Tupac and Jim Belushi, Gang Related was released in 1997, a year after Tupac’s tragic death. This script is dated to August 12^th, 1996, under a month before Tupac was fatally wounded leaving the September 7^th Mike Tyson vs. Bruce Selden fight at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Tupac passed away on from his injuries on September 13^th, 1996.

The back page of this script features over 15 lines of working lyrics handwritten by Tupac in black pen. The lyrics feature numerous edits and corrections, and contain Tupac’s trademark incisive wordplay on life, love, and death in the streets. “Tupac Shakur” is written on the front page of the script in an unknown hand. This three-page partial script comes with a LOA from JSA (Z42396) for Tupac’s lyrics.
