Presented here are the handwritten lyrics to the third verse of Tupac Shakur’s posthumously released song “Let Em Have It”. This song appeared on the album Until the End of Time, which was released in 2001, just under five years after Tupac’s tragic death in a Las Vegas drive-by shooting. Until the End of Time was an instant hit, debuting at number one on the Billboard Top 200 charts. BET named Until the End of Time the third-best posthumously released album of all-time, after another Tupac offering, Killuminati, and the Notorious B.I.G. album Life After Death.

“Let Em Have It” appeared twice on Until the End of Time, once as the original song featuring an appearance from the rapper SKG, and a second time as a remix featuring the work of another hip-hop artist gone too soon, Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes of the group TLC. These handwritten lyrics have been written in green fiber tip marker on white notebook paper with blue lines. “Let em Have It” is written on the top of the paper, while the numbers “1” through “8” are written vertically down the side of the paper. This sheet is in good condition, with only minor soiling that does not impact the quality of these lyrics. This item comes with a LOA from JSA (Z42118), as well as an LOA from the original recipient of the lyrics, a friend of Shakur’s and fellow rapper Jermaine Carter.
