“Why U Turn On Me” appeared on Tupac Shakur’s third posthumously released album, Until the End of Time. This album was an instant hit, debuting at number one on the Billboard Top 200 charts the week of April 14th, 2001. The album was certified as four-time Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America, and was named by BET as the third best posthumously released album in hip-hop history.

     These lyrics, for the for the second verse of “Why U Turn On Me”, feature a diss directed at radio and television host Wendy Williams, who had previously suggested that Tupac was sexually assaulted during his prison stint in 1995. Shakur wrote “All my old friendz busy now my money gone / Said I got raped in jail picture that / Revenge is a payback b*tch get cha gat / F**k Wendy Williamz I pray u choke / On the next d**k down ya throat”.

     Shakur penned these lyrics in black fiber-tip marker, writing 16 bars of lyrics. The numbers “1” through “8” are written vertically down the side of this page of white notebook paper with blue lines. Several corrections are present in this sheet of lyrics. This item comes with a LOA from JSA (Z42115), as well as an LOA from the original recipient of the lyrics, a friend of Shakur’s and fellow rapper Jermaine Carter.
