Offered here is a mini Louisville Slugger decal bat featuring Ty Cobb dating to the early 20th century. This mini bat has a decal that features Cobb’s full image in a batting pose wearing a pinstriped Tigers’ uniform and a green backdrop. In big black letters reads “Georgia Peach” and above reads “Ty Cobb BROKE ALL BATIING RECORDS WITH LOUISVILLE SLUGGER”. There is vertical chipping that runs down the front of Cobb’s image. The “LOUISVILLE SLUGGER 40TC Hillerich & Bradsby Co. Trademark Louisville, KY” branding is on the upper handle. The bat has great eye appeal and retains much of its original surface gloss. The quality and design of the decal on the offered example highlights Ty Cobb and is a truly wonderful example of a distinctive mini bat from that era.
