Offered here is a vintage fielder’s glove used circa 1895. This left-handed glove only vaguely resembles the common models in use today, with virtually no padding or web present on this fielding tool. It is made of brown leather, with five distinct finger slots and a miniscule "H" webbing between the thumb and index finger. The top of the glove features a wrist strap fastened onto a metal button. This glove is remarkably well preserved for its venerable age and is a tremendous artifact of baseball history. This glove comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1G00448).
