The front of the display features the Reach logo in yellow type on a navy-blue background at the top, over a large 10 x 16-inch illustration of a “Reach Official No. 05 Double Lined” football against a light green background. Four football players, two in red jerseys and two in blue jerseys, are illustrated atop the football, with the two red jersey players on defense and the two blue jerseys on offense, including the kicker. The caption “Football Equipment” is across the bottom in yellow type over a navy-blue background. Alfred J. Reach, a former Major League Baseball player of the late 19th century, became a leading sports “titan”, first as the founding owner of the Philadelphia Phillies and later as the founder of the aforementioned sporting goods company that bore his name.
