Offered in this lot is a pair of Wade Boggs game-used and signed Nike baseball shoes. Boggs, a career .328 hitter, was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 2005. These Nike cleats are black and white, with two white Nike swoosh logos sewn on each shoe. Boggs’ number “12” is handwritten in black marker on the outer swoosh on each shoe. Boggs has signed the toe of each piece of footwear in silver marker, inscribing “Game Used Yankees” in addition to his signatures. Boggs played in the Bronx from 1993 through 1997, winning the 1996 World Series title in the same year he made his 12th and final All-Star team. The shoes show light to moderate wear and come with a Boggs LOA.
