Presented is a Walter Payton signed Chicago Bears Pro Line NFL Helmet. The Football Hall of Fame running back has signed his name in silver marker on the left side of the blue hard plastic helmet, above an orange and white “C” logo decal. He has inscribed “3X” below his signature. The Riddell helmet has a blue facemask with a white plastic “Riddell” facemask bracket in the front center, a white Riddell chinstrap, and white foam padding inside the replica helmet.

Payton played 13 seasons for the Bears, including their historic 1985 season when the Bears went on to a 15–1 record that culminated in a 46–10 victory over the New England Patriots in Super Bowl XX. He is best remembered as a prolific rusher, once holding records for career rushing yards, touchdowns, carries, yards from scrimmage, all-purpose yards, and many other categories. He was also versatile and retired with the most receptions by a non-receiver and had eight career touchdown passes. He was elected into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1993, the Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame that same year, and the College Football Hall of Fame in 1996.
