A towering, 7’0” center for the Philadelphia/San Francisco Warriors, Philadelphia 76ers, and Los Angeles Lakers, Chamberlain was such an imposing player that the NBA practically rewrote its rulebook to limit his influence. The only player to ever average 50 points per game for an entire season, Chamberlain is either the sole leader or tied for first in 72 NBA records categories. The Overbrook High School product is a member of both the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame and the International Volleyball Association Hall of Fame.
