This oversized Wilson US Open tennis ball has been signed by 14 Women’s Tennis Association members as a gesture of thanks to the legendary tennis broadcaster Dick Enberg. On one panel is the inscription “You are a true champion. We will miss you” signed “From the WTA”. The signatures on this ball include Serena Williams, Mary Carillo, Francesca Schiavone, Sam Stosur, Vera Zvonerava, Andrea Petkovic, Ana Ivanovic, Caroline Wozniacki, Christina McHale, Melanie Oudin, Maria Sharapova, Jelena Jankovic, Sloane Stephens, and one other. Numerous players have added inscriptions, with Williams writing “You are my favorite ever always so nice! I love you [and] will miss you!!”, Carillo writing “We all love you Dick”, and Sharapova writing “Thank you for everything!”, among others. The signatures on this ball have been written in black marker. This item comes with a LOA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication and a LOA from the Enberg family.
