Offered is a Derek Jeter signature on a brick from the original Yankee Stadium in New York, along with a bleacher seat from the ballpark. The former New York Yankees All-Star shortstop has signed his name across the top of the 2 ¼ x 4 x 8-inch red clay brick in black marker. Jeter played in the original Yankee Stadium from his debut in the 1995 season through the end of the 2008 season when the stadium closed. This item comes with a MLB Authenticated hologram (LH562552) and a COA from Steiner Sports (108699).
The original Yankee Stadium in the Bronx was the home ballpark of the New York Yankees from 1923 to 1973 and then from 1976 to 2008. The stadium hosted 6,581 Yankees regular season home games during its 85-year history. It was also the former home of the New York Giants football team from 1956 through the first part of the 1973–74 football season. The stadium was built from 1922 to 1923 for $2.4 million. Yankee Stadium opened for the 1923 MLB season and at that time, it was hailed as a one-of-a-kind facility in the country for its size.
The blue metal bleacher seat from Yankee Stadium is 9½ x 12½ x 18½-inches with blue plastic end caps. The seat sits atop two black metal stanchions.
