Offered here is one of the jackets worn during the 1993 film “Rudy”, which has been named one of the best 25 sports movies of the past 25 years in two polls by ESPN. The film was also ranked No. 54 as the most inspiring film of all time in the American Film Institute’s “AFI 100 Years” series. Rudy, which starred Sean Astin as Daniel Eugene “Rudy” Ruettiger, tells the story of Rudy’s dream of playing for the University of Notre Dame football team during their heyday of the early 1970’s despite being undersized. This jacket was worn by actor Luke Massery, who played the young Rudy in the film. This jacket is brown with a hood and zipper front. The hood has an adjustable black lace and handwritten in black marker on the inside hood is “Young Rudy Sony #74”. This jacket shows decent wear and is still in good condition.
