Playing in the recently renovated Yankee Stadium, the Mid-Summer Classic returned to the Bronx for the 48th all-star game that saw the National League defeat the American League 7-5. Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher and Hall of Famer Don Sutton took home the MVP honors, pitching three scoreless innings for the National League to open the game.

Offered here is a 1977 MLB All-Star Game Ring manufactured by Balfour (Stamped on the inside with their “B” with a mustang going through it). The ring is named to “Shorrock” which is most likely Balfour artist and Executive Vice President Norman Shorrock. This beautiful gold ring boasts a depiction of Yankee Stadium and the team’s famous intertwined “NY” logo on one side and Shorrock’s name above the MLB logo and the year “77”. Reflective blue stone surrounded by “AMERICAN” and “NATIONAL” tops off this magnificent piece of the 1977 Mid-Summer game. This ring weighs approximately 21.7 grams and is an approximate size 9 ½.
