Arthur Miller’s unique series “A Baseball Card That Never Was” revisits the glory days of the Yankees dynasty with this depiction of the New York Yankee captain Derek Jeter. This artwork is a mixed media on canvas. Specifically, the mixed media is acrylic enamel house paint, oil pastels and colored pencils and sealed with varnish. It portrays Jeter as he may have appeared on a 1948 Leaf trading card, sporting his crisp Yankees home uniform with a black bat slung over his shoulder. This original canvas artwork measures 25 x 30 inches, and features Miller’s signature on the upper right-hand corner. Appearing on the back of this canvas is “A Baseball Card That Never Was: Derek Jeter (1948 Leaf)", “2018”, and a second Miller signature. This stunning Derek Jeter artwork is a must-have display piece!
