The 1951 MLB season featured one of the most iconic moments in the history of the sport, delivered by New York Giants outfielder Bobby Thomson. The Giants engineered a furious comeback at the end of the regular season to overcome a 13 ½ game deficit against the Brooklyn Dodgers. Thomson ended the pennant-deciding three game playoff against the Dodgers with a dramatic walk off home run against Dodgers hurler Ralph Branca, sending the Giants to the World Series.

This Louisville Slugger bat, a limited edition eight of 23, has been signed by 22 members of both the 1951 Giants and Dodgers, including the Hall of Famers Willie Mays, Duke Snider, and Monte Irvin. Other signatures include Bobby Thomson, Ralph Branca, Gene Hermanski, Wes Westrum, Herman Franks, Rocky Bridges, Don Newcombe, Clyde King, Al Dark, Clem Labine, Sal Yvars, and several more. The signatures have been written in blue marker. “The Shot Heard ‘Round the World” and “10/3/51” have been inscribed on the barrel. This item comes with a COA from Steiner Sports.
