Women's shoes sold under the brand name Pappagallo were in fashion and very much in demand 60 years ago. Pappagallo, Inc. manufactured and distributed shoes out of New York City up until 1968. Pappagallo Shoes were, in essence, boutique shop products, uniquely designed to attract the boutique clientele. Pappagallo is no longer around, but when it was, it was big. Pappagallo was the shoe for the genteel woman. It was a quality shoe available in many sizes and colors. Most Pappagallo shoes were made of Italian kidskin, which allowed for the brilliant colors and the shiny appearance.
