This land grant, dated November 1, 1806, has been signed by not one, but two founding fathers - President Thomas Jefferson and his Secretary of State (and future President) James Madison. Dual-signed documents by these two are rare! The document is in overall fine condition with two vertical and one horizontal crease, as well as staining due to apparent moisture. See images for details. The Presidential seal is fully intact and this item is accompanied by LOA from Beckett Authentication Services (A03857).
