Offered in this lot are nine tickets and passes to Presidential and political events from the 19th and 20th centuries. Chronologically, the first item in this lot is a ticket to Ulysses S. Grant’s second inauguration on March 4th, 1873. The name of the ticketholder is written on the front in black pen. This ticket is not encapsulated. The second item in this lot is a ticket to the 1892 Democratic National Convention in Chicago. This ticket is good for entry on June 21st. Also included are individual tickets to the third, fourth, and fifth sessions of the Democratic National Convention of 1892. These three tickets are connected, and all 1892 tickets are not encapsulated. The next item in this lot is a flyer to a reception hosted by “Ohio Democrats” for the Hon. William Jennings Bryan. The year is not specified, but the event took place on September 13th at Cincinnati Ball Park. This flyer measures 3.5 x 6 inches and is not encapsulated.

The next item in this lot is a pass to the March 4th, 1905 inauguration of Theodore Roosevelt. This pass is for the Lafayette Stand. It has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (21147181). Next is an encapsulated ticket to the fifth day of the 1920 Republican National Convention in Chicago. Warren Harding was the nominee at this convention. This ticket stub has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (21573289). The next ticket is for the 1924 Democratic National Convention in New York. It boasts of a “special guest”, later revealed to be John W. Davis, on the front of the ticket. This ticket stub has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (21147202). The next item is an unencapsulated pass to the “Young Rep. Work Area” at the 1960 Republican National Convention in Chicago. This ticket is pink and in good condition. The penultimate item in this lot is a laminated pass to the 1968 Republican National Convention in Miami Beach, Florida. The final item is a full ticket to a George C. Wallace rally at Chicago’s International Amphitheater on November 1st, 1968. This ticket has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (23422155).
