Offered in this lot are three passes to Boston-area athletic clubs dating to the early 1880’s. The first item in this lot is a pass to the Union Athletic Club of Boston for the year of 1880. Many of Boston’s most influential and important citizens, from the future President Calvin Coolidge to the renowned Harvard botanist Asa Gray, called themselves members of the Union Athletic Club. This pass has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (20970743). Also included in this lot is a Union Athletic Club pass from the year of 1883. This pass has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (20970744). Finally, a Harvard Athletic Association pass from 1882 is included in this lot. This pass has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (20970724).
