Graded VG 3 by PSA, the only example validated by that company. Hall of Famer. This well-detailed, lithographed trade card reveals a superb example of 19th Century caricature humor with one of the time's biggest baseball stars, Mike "King" Kelly, as its subject. Originally distributed by a Danbury, Connecticut clothier, that concern's printed advertising appears on the reverse side of the very scarce, approximately 4-1/2" x 3" piece. The item bears mild wear at the corners and traces of age-shadowing on the reverse. Tobin "Black & White" lithos like this one are much more rare than their color-printed counterparts. An extremely desirable survivor, in clean Very Good condition.
