Offered is a 21-card partial set of N128 "Snapshots from Puck" non-sports cards issued by Duke in 1888. Puck was one of the most popular late-19th Century publications. First published in 1871 and lasting until 1918, the magazine was noted for its caricature-esque depictions and biting humor partaking in a well-established American pastime—lampooning politicians and society through cartoons and editorials. The beautiful artwork and fine quality lithography make this a pleasing addition to any 19th Century collection. Missing "A Crack At The Truth", "More Than One Way", "On The New York and New Haven R.R." and "On The Way To The Station" for completion. Grades 38% VG to VG/EX, 62% lesser.
