Offered in this lot is a medal celebrating the centenary of the Uruguayan Football Association in 2000. Founded on the 30th of March in 1900, the AUF presides over the two-time FIFA World Cup champions. This offered medal is gold in color and shows a high relief etching of the Estadio Centenario’s Torre de los Homenajes above a laurel wreath. Also etched on the front is “Torre de los Homenajes” in high relief. Etched on the back of the medal is the AUF 100th Anniversary logo. The medal is attached to a sky-blue ribbon and is in good condition.
