Presented in this lot are six ticket stubs from Yale Bulldogs football games in the early days of the 20th century. The first ticket is from the 1902 Yale-Harvard game at Yale Field. The Bulldogs defeated the Crimson 22-0 to end their season 11-0-1 and the co-national champs. This ticket stub has been authenticated and encapsulated by PSA (21252289). The second ticket in this lot is from the 1906 Yale-Harvard game at Yale Field. Yale beat Harvard 6-0 to end the season undefeated with only six total points surrendered all season. This ticket stub has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (21252292). The third ticket is from the Yale-Princeton game at Yale Field in 1907. Yale, the consensus national champion, won this game 12-10. It was the only game of the season in which Yale did not shut out their opponent. This ticket stub has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (20810089).
The fourth ticket in this lot is from the Bulldogs game against Princeton in 1909 at Yale Field. Yale, again the consensus national champions, won this game 17-0 in a season where they outscored their opponents 209-0 in 10 games. This ticket stub, which is printed with “This ticket will not admit a lady”, has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (20810090). The fifth ticket in this lot is from the Harvard-Yale game in 1910 at Yale Field. The game finished a 0-0 tie, with Harvard going on to become the co-national champions. This ticket stub has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (21252294). The final ticket in this lot is from the 1913 contest between Harvard and Princeton at Yale Field. The game finished 3-3 in the final collegiate outing for American multi-sport legend Hobey Baker. This ticket stub has been encapsulated and graded an EX – MT 6 by PSA (20982690).
