Offered in this lot are four tickets to baseball games from 1907 through 1915. The first ticket in this lot is from a Boston Doves and New York Giants doubleheader on August 31st, 1907 at South End Grounds. The Giants won both games, taking the first by a score of 3-2 and the second 9-6. This ticket stub has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (26137624). The second ticket is from the Chicago Cubs 5-3 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates at Forbes Field on October 8th, 1910. This ticket stub has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (26137628). The third ticket in this lot is for an exhibition contest between the Pirates and Cleveland Naps on October 8th, 1913 at Forbes Field. Billed as Nap Lajoie vs Honus Wagner, this game finished 4-3 in favor of the Pirates. This ticket stub has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (23421859). The final ticket in this lot is a grandstand seat ticket used during the 1915 Cleveland Indians season, their first playing under the “Indians” moniker. Second-year hurler Guy Morton was the best pitcher on the Indians staff in 1915, while Ray Chapman and mid-season departure Shoeless Joe Jackson paced the team’s offense. This ticket stub has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (25292272).
