This beautiful and ornate premium, issued by the Chicago Examiner in 1910, features portrait images of 20 members of the Chicago White Sox as well as the club's season schedule. Manager Hugh Duffy is pictured prominently atop the display, with the other team members pictured including Hall of Famer Ed Walsh (who, unbelievably, would lead the League in ERA and losses that season), Freddy Parent, Lena Blackburne, Doc White, Billy Sullivan, Billy Purtell and Lee Tannehill. Printed on medium paper stock, this 10" x 14" premium is toned while tape repairs on the reverse support the fragile nature of this relic. Condition faults also include creasing, edge tears, a small hole and small spots of surface loss. Overall, this is an attractive piece which displays a favorable frontal aesthetic.
