The Boston Red Sox won their fifth World Series title in 1918, defeating the Chicago Cubs in a six-game Fall Classic that would prove to be their final title until the 21st century. Babe Ruth was the star of this team, pulling double-duty as a hitter and pitcher for the 75-51 Red Sox. Ruth led baseball with 11 homers, despite recording only 317 at-bats in the war-shortened season. He added a .300 batting average and 61 RBI to go with a 13-7 record with a 2.22 ERA as a pitcher. Offered in this lot is a 1918 Fenway Park grand stand pass valid for Red Sox home games. It has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (21355625).
