Offered here is a 1929 American League season pass presented to “Williams Friese and Wife” with the compliments of American League President Ernest Sargent Barnard. The Philadelphia Athletics claimed the AL pennant and the World Series title behind the Hall of Fame duo of Jimmy Foxx and Al Simmons, with “The Beast” slashing .354/.463/.625 with 33 homers and 118 RBI to Simmons’ line of .365/.398/.642 with 34 home runs and 157 RBI. Babe Ruth led baseball with 46 home runs while George Earnshaw of the A’s paced the American League in wins with 24. This pass has been authenticated and encapsulated by PSA (25292317).
