Hall of Famer Harry Heilmann led the American League in batting four times, posting impressive averages of .394 in 1921, .403 in 1923, .393 in 1925 and .398 in 1927 with a 17-year career average of .342. This 1930s vintage 34-inch, 31-ounce, model TA 13, game-used bat shows excessive use with heavy wear and staining around the barrel, water damage and dry rotting at the barrel’s end and chips and wear to the knob. Heilmann’s [sic] misspelled last name is burned into the barrel in block letters between “Georgia Driver” and “Steel Tempered” trademarks; comes with Sports Collectors Digest Letter of Authenticity certification #251787 and A1 grading.
