Offered are over 350 cards from the R96-2 and R96-3 "Movie Stars" non-sports releases issued in the 1930s and 1940s. Popular movie stars from the time are included in this assembly. Includes:
R96-2 "Movie Stars" (290+) - These large cards measure 5" x 7" and have blank backs. Highlights include: Fred Astaire, Don Ameche, James Cagney, Jackie Cooper, Bing Crosby, Joan Crawford, Douglas Fairbanks, Errol Flynn, Clark Gable, Betty Grable, Katherin Hepburn, Buck Jones, Carole Lombard, Ken Maynard, Robert Montgomery, Lana Turner and Spencer Tracy. Also included is a premium (GD). The cards range in condition, however, the aggregate is nearly VG;
R96-3 "Movie Stars" (66) - Eleven sheets of 6-cards. The sheets are 6" x 8" and are blank-backed. Mostly VG/EX to EX.
