This “The Champions Box” pencil case originates from the 1930’s and shows images of the greatest athletes of the era. Babe Ruth and Red Grange get prime billing on the top of this pencil case, while there are other portraits of Gene Tunney, Bill Tilden, Bobby Jones, Glenna Collett-Vare, Gertrude Ederle, and Helen Wills. The pencil case folds out to reveal a segmented compartment. It measures 10.5 x 4.5 inches and is in good condition.
