Presented is a 72-card extremely rare complete set of R109 Cuban Sweets "Pirate Pictures" non-sports cards issued in the 1930s, plus its original album (GD; tape securing it at the top). Although issued in the United States by Gum, Inc., the classic 1930s R109 Pirate's Pictures series was also released in Cuba (with Spanish captions and text), by Cuban Sweets. One card (#27) is a Belga Pirates Gum example. The fronts present mostly at the EX to NM level (balance is lesser), however, technically they grade lesser due to toning on their backs (which are fully legible) from long-ago scrapbook storage.
