Presented is a 25-card complete set of R5 "Aeroplane Series" non-sports cards issued by Wischmann Gum in the 1930s. Colorful illustrations of airplanes and other aircraft are featured on the obverse of these cards; the backs contain a brief description of the depicted aircraft along with advertising information. Notable aviator figures Amelia Earhart and Charles Lindbergh are featured in this array. Grades 36% NM to NM/MT, 48% EX to EX/MT, 16% VG to VG/EX (including one lesser).
