Presented is a 10-piece complete set of R43-3 "Trooper" candy containers produced by American Mint in the 1930s, plus doughboy coupon (NM/MT). As beautiful as these approximately 2-5/8" tall scarce candy tubes are, it's easy to speculate that they were purchased for the "wrapper" rather than the candy found within. The group averages about EX. All but two examples (Ethiopia and Russia) have retained their internal base plugs; six specimens (England, France, Scotland, Sweden, Turkey and United States) have their scarce top caps.
