A two-time Triple Crown winner, Rogers Hornsby also collected seven batting titles and two National League MVP awards. Few second basemen of any era can match Hornsby’s accomplishments, which include 301 home runs and the second highest batting average (.358) of all-time. Hornsby cleared the .400 mark in batting average three times, including in 1924, when he hit for an almost unbelievable .424 average. In 1926, as the player-manager of the St. Louis Cardinals, Hornsby led the team to a World Series championship.

This offered Rogers Hornsby Hanna Manufacturing 10 Pro Stock bat has a labeling period of circa 1932, displays heavy use and is un-cracked. There is a water stain visible on the top barrel and the barrel also displays checking or grain swelling from repeated ball contact. The knob has a chip and the length of the bat is 36 inches and weighs approximately 42.4 ounces. This bat was made to Hornsby’s specs, but use of this bat cannot be attributed to Hornsby. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B13775).
