This Goudey depiction conveys one of the most recognizable images of Babe Ruth ever produced, and the rendering provided on the offered specimen is of extraordinary depth and resolution. Intensely vivid color, complemented by sound registration, delivers tremendous eye appeal. As an additional and undeniably very rare attribute, this career-contemporary piece bears its subject's bold, black fountain pen scripting in the most favorable location. The singular autograph, "Babe Ruth," forcefully projecting dynamic "7" quality, constitutes the ultimate enhancement to this fabulous memento. Natural corner rounding and small superficial faults factor into a technical assessment of Poor condition, but concentration on those details belies the card's phenomenal aesthetic character.
