Although subjected to superficial corner damage at the top edge from album or scrapbook mounting, this collectible – one of the most popular among Babe Ruth's four 1933 Goudey entries – concedes few shortcomings in the aesthetic realm. The card's colors are very pleasing, and both front and back sides are gratifyingly bright and legible. A widely hungered-for piece depicting the baseball legend, this copy delivers a surprisingly satisfactory appearance.
