A gratifying and inspiring smile from the legendary Lou Gehrig is the hallmark of this ever-popular '34 Goudey entry, and the sight carries exceptional aplomb on this mildly circulated example. The offered card – which boasts superb color in its likeness of the fabled Yankee – reveals inoffensive traces of surface and corner wear, consistent with its grading assessment.
