Presented is a 24-card complete set of Goudey's aviation-themed classic plus a wrapper and a box! Goudey employed spectacular, bounteous color in putting together its visual chronicle of the world's aircraft in 1941. These blank-backed cards feature beautifully painted illustrations of their subject planes, and this assembly facilitates full appreciation of the collectibles' artistry. All cards have been printed on gray cardstock. Highlights include: #'s 1 U.S.A. Patrol Bomber (VG) and 24 China. Northrup 8 A-1 (VG/EX). Grades 58% EX to EX/MT, 42% VG to VG/EX (one lesser). The wrapper grades GD due to tape. The box presents VG due to staining, handling wear and a tear.
