Presented is a 24-card complete set which is the first of two baseball card issues produced by the novelty/carnival supply firm of Michael Pressner and Co. (M.P. & Co.). Each card displays an illustration which can be categorized as cartoonish. Without the player's name accompanying the portrait, it would be almost impossible to identify the intended subject, yet resonates with a pleasing nostalgic charm.
