Under the watch of legendary head coach Paul Brown and led by Hall of Fame quarterback Otto Graham, the Cleveland Browns won the National Football League’s American Division in 1950, finishing the regular season with a mark of 10-2. The Browns finished ranked fourth in points scored and second in points against, outscoring their opponents by a combined 310-144. Cleveland went on to win the NFL championship with a 30-28 victory over the Los Angeles Rams in the title game.

Offered here is a Jostens 10K gold 1950 Cleveland Browns NFL championship player’s ring that was presented to Alex Agase, who started 11 games for the Browns that season.  A single round diamond is set on a large dark center stone, with “CLEVELAND BROWNS WORLD CHAMPIONS” reading in relief lettering around the bezel setting. One side of the ring displays a banner that shows the year “1950” with “NFL” below it. An image of the team mascot, Brownie the Elf, appears on the opposite side. Inside the band includes a “JOSTEN 10K” mark as well as a partially worn off engraving of Agase’s name. This ring is an approximate size 10 and weighs approximately 18.1 grams. This item comes with a LOA from the family of Alex Agase.
