This is a spectacular original Chesterfield cigarettes store display featuring a fantastic image of Frank Sinatra. This great display was created to support Ol’ Blue Eye’s “The Frank Sinatra Show” appearing on ABC television. Running from October, 1957 to June, 1958, this was Sinatra’s second and last attempt at a television show and follows an earlier show on CBS from 1950 to 1952. The colorful 21” x 22” sign asks the question, “Like Your Pleasure Big?,” …”Smoke Chesterfield,”…”Man-Size Satisfaction Clean, smooth fresh!” Sinatra is pictured enjoying his Chesterfield and urges the viewer to “See Sinatra – ABC-TV.” A great piece from the heyday of American advertising.
