Hall of Famer George Kell’s last season with the Detroit Tigers was in 1951 when he earned his fifth straight All-Star selection and finished the season with an American League best 191 hits and 36 doubles. Kell also had a solid .319 average as he appeared in 147 games. This bat displays outstanding game use with an approximately 1 ½ x 11-inch piece of wood missing from the barrel. There are ball marks present on the barre and the bat’s model number “C166” is stamped on the knob. This bat comes with a STICKER ONLY from PSA/DNA (1B25380) for the game use.
