An absolutely striking example of this much-coveted “High Number!” The super-desirable 1952 Topps card of Jackie Robinson is often seen with a somewhat muted background, but the item's extraordinary aesthetic qualities typically allow this aspect to escape notice. The offered example delivers splendid, bright colors, and immediately surpasses virtually all other specimens in terms of brilliance and eye appeal. Intense hues in ideal focus dominate the appearance of this piece, and make the sight of it a true visual treat. The item's clean white borders frame the fabulous image with remarkably well-calibrated alignment. All four corners are square and sharply formed, and the card's back printing is bold and clear.
