The complete set of three reels is presented. Most people who grew up during the 1950s and 1960s have fond memories of looking at their View-Master reels. These 3-1/2"-diameter, cardboard discs with embedded Kodachrome images, when used with a special viewer, allowed beautifully detailed, color scenes to spring to life! One of the most enduringly popular of the View-Master reel sets is offered here. The trio of 7-player reels illuminates a total of twenty-one ballplayers, including seven Hall of Famers. The set includes:
Reel No. 725 - Al Rosen, Phil Rizzuto, Jack Jensen, Preacher Roe, Whitey Lockman, Minnie Minoso, Yogi Berra;
Reel No. 726 - John Mize, Bob Lemon, Red Schoendienst, Ferris Fain, Monte Irvin, Bobby Shantz, Sid Gordon;
Reel No. 727 - Bobby Thomson, Grady Hatton, Vic Wertz, Mel Parnell, Gene Woodling, Sal Maglie, Roy Campanella.
The reels and their delicate photo components project NM to NM/MT condition. Each reel is accompanied by its individual paper sleeve and an information pamphlet listing its subjects; all three pieces and their associated paper items are still contained in a printed, 4-1/2"-square envelope.
