Long-time big leaguer Mickey Vernon carved a successful 20-year career, finishing with a solid .288 batting average and 121 home runs. Vernon used this Hillerich & Bradsby K55 model bat during the 1954 season, his penultimate one with the Washington Senators where he led the American League in doubles with 33. This bat displays outstanding game use and has a crack on the handle. There are ball marks present on the barrel and a hole was drilled into the center of the knob. Vernon has signed his name in faded black ink on the barrel. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B16894) for the game use and a LOA from Beckett Authentication for the signature.
