Former Major Leaguer Vic Power used this Hillerich & Bradsby K55 model bat circa 1955 when he played with the Kansas A’s and had a solid .319 batting average with 19 home runs and 76 RBI while earning his first All-Star selection. This bat displays excellent game use with a crack on the handle that has been repaired. The front and back barrel has checking or grain swelling from repeated ball contact that has been secured. The finish on the bat has been removed and the knob has a chip missing. The knob also has the bat’s model number “K55” stamped and the barrel has been stamped “Vic Pellot” with “Pellot” being Power’s middle name. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B16987) for the game use and has been graded a GU 7.5.
