The Hall of Fame tailback Lenny Moore wore this red Durene football jersey in the 1955 East-West Shrine Game in San Francisco’s Kezar Stadium on December 31st, 1955. Moore, a collegiate star at Penn State, had rushed for 697 yards and five touchdowns to earn a spot in the prestigious postseason contest in advance of his selection in the 1956 NFL Draft as the ninth overall pick. The East was victorious in the East-West Game, claiming a 29-6 victory. Moore played his entire NFL career with the Baltimore Colts, rushing for 5,174 yards and leading the NFL in yards per touch in each of his first six seasons. Moore won a pair of NFL titles with the Colts and was a First Team All-Pro selection in five seasons. Moore retired after the 1967 campaign and was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1975.

This offered East-West All-Star jersey is red, with white stripes on the sleeves and Moore’s number “42” sewn on the chest and back in white tackle twill. The shoulders are white and a “52” is printed in black on the back inside collar. A Wilson size “44” tag is sewn on the front left tail. Please note that some staining is present along the front and back tail. Moore has signed the “4” digit on the front of the jersey in black marker, inscribing “1955” after his signature. This historic and significant jersey comes with a LOA from Moore, as well as a LOA from PSA/DNA covering the signature.
