Presented is two signatures of Baseball Hall of Famer Mickey Mantle, one on the front page and one on the back page of a two-page fold-out brochure from the National Sports Council. The former New York Yankees centerfielder has signed his name in blue marker on the front over a photo of Mantle in a “Trained by World Champions” t-shirt alongside the caption “Live Like A Champion…make us proud of you!”. Mantle has also signed his name in blue marker on the back page, in the center below a caption “Take Care of Your Body!”. The 11 x 14-inch white cardstock brochure has navy-blue, royal blue and brown tones and black & white photographs, with a two-page interior centerspread captioned “Health Habits Chart” featuring black & white photographs of the heads of Yogi Berra, Bob Cousy, Doak Walker and Joe Louis. The back page features a black & white photograph of Ernest (Ernie) Vandeweghe, M.D., former New York Knicks player and physician. The brochure was published by the National Sports Council and is copyright 1956. This item comes with a LOA Steve Grad of from Beckett Authentication (F06708).
