Stobbs’ career spanned 15 seasons, from 1947 with the Red Sox to 1961 with the Minnesota Twins. The one-time Bonus Baby won 107 games in his Major League career.

Offered in this lot is Stobbs’ gray flannel zipper front jersey from the 1957 season, as well as Stobbs’ gray road pants and stirrups. A “Stobbs 57” tag is sewn on the back inside collar. “Stobbs Set 1 57” is hand chain-stitched on the front left tail below a Spalding size “44” tag. The pants are gray flannel, with a Spalding size “38” tag sewn on the back inside collar. A “Set 1 1957” flag is attached to the Spalding tag. “TUCKER” is handwritten in black marker above the Spalding tag. The stirrups in this lot are navy with a white stripe and a red stripe.
